Kansas City native Dr. Anna Mears is excited to join the team at Excelsior Springs Animal Clinic and serve the pets and families of the community she grew up in. Attending the University of Missouri, she spent seven years earning both her Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Mears has always loved the special bond people share with their pets and feels incredibly lucky to care for your furriest family members. She also values getting to know her clients and their pets and working together to make the best decisions for each individual animal.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mears enjoys spending time with her two cats, Udon and Patricia, trying new restaurants with her husband, and playing puzzle games. She is excited to return to her roots and build lasting relationships with her clients and give every animal the care and compassion she would give her own.
